Anker Prime Charger (160W, 3 Ports, Smart Display)

This charger works fine and the folding prongs add real value. Bluetooth is a total missed opportunity, you can't add any real logic here except for one-off timers.

I bought this with high hopes. I wanted a device that I could use with my dedicated graphics card laptop, charge my phone and watch. This works pretty well. The device fell out of a worn out airport plug and hit the hard floor, it cracked the housing not two weeks after I bought it. Anker supported the device by performing a swap. I do have a weird issue where my Samsung watch charger if plugged in first, will not allow my laptop to see the charger as a compatible charger. I have to plug the laptop in first. Weird.

It’s a high quality product with a nice screen and nice materials. However it has never gotten above like 40w with a MacBook Pro and iPad Pro and AirPod max all plugged in. So just wish it charged them faster. It only does like 10-15w per device. Probably fixable worth software updates but for now it’s just ehh.

Like most people, I have amassed a large quantity of charging bricks over the years. Most all of them fall short on performance. Not this one. The build is top notch. Fast and powerful charging up to three devices. Smart features and good app control. I think I've arrived at a solution.

Let me explain, I just got a new Dell xps/premium laptop which can take up to 120 Watts so perfect world yes this should work great, but for some reason this adapter only feeds up to 90W of power which results in the laptop showing a slow charger error. I am using an Anker cable that says it is good for up to 250w so it comes down to protocols so either Anker or Dell is not using the right protocols. Havnt tried this with my phone yet. I got this to reduce the number of chargers in my bag. So from that front it is a great solution.
