Liberty 5 Pro Max｜AI Recording Earbuds with Smart Case

Overall quality is pretty good. These are the best sounding consumer earbuds and the best ANC I have experienced to date. I have a few IEM's (what you see artists wearing at concerts) and that is a whole different experience, but these come fairly close for general listening. The eq curve defaults are a bit exaggerated but you can tune these to your liking. I think for 95% of people the defaults or a preset will do just fine. I have trouble with earbuds in general, but these actually stay in better than any others I've tried; I can sit down, walk around, but I wouldn't mow the lawn and definately couldn't go for a jog. Battery life is good - and they recharge crazy quick. Initial setup was fairly painless and they just work after that. Given the subscription factor, I feel these could be a little cheaper comparing them to the non-Max variant. The listing has been updated since I first looked, now disclosing the paid features properly. So the catch, you get two hours of transcription for free. Translation is free for now (full disclosure, not tested), I feel this will become a premium feature as well - this is also a cloud based, so you need internet for this to work. If you are not a business professional or doing interviews for whatever reason, Skip the Max and get the regular 5 Pro.

These are incredible, the volume, the sound quality the controls the everything that you can control or manipulate right from it’s case!!!!!! If you don’t need the note feature save money if you like I went for the max version I needed the little screen a true game changer!!!!!

These are easily one of the best pairs of earbuds I’ve used since the AirPods Pro 3. The overall sound quality is very good and just shy of excellent. The default tuning leans a little too V shaped for my taste, but a quick EQ adjustment fixes that easily. I found the Clear Voice EQ profile to be especially well balanced with clean vocals and a natural presentation. The active noise cancellation is excellent. I would put it right alongside the AirPods Pro 3 and the latest Sony earbuds. Apple’s ANC is still just a touch better, but the difference is small in everyday use. Where these completely separate themselves from the competition is call quality in noisy environments. Apple and Sony are not even close here. These can make you sound like you’re sitting in a quiet room even when you’re in an extremely loud place like a busy cafe, a sports stadium, while mowing the lawn, or vacuuming the house. It almost feels like magic because it’s so effective. My guess is that this comes from combining AI processing with both traditional microphones and bone conduction microphones. Whatever the reason, the person on the other end hears your voice with remarkably little background noise. This is different from noise cancellation for your own listening. That is already excellent. This is about how well your voice is isolated for the people you’re calling, and it’s the best I’ve personally used. The smart case with the built in screen is also much more useful than I expected. Being able to change settings and control features without pulling out your phone is genuinely convenient. There are a couple of weak spots. The automatic conversation mode that switches to transparency when you start talking is disappointing. It’s slow to react and it can also trigger from coughing or even random background sounds. The transparency mode itself is good and natural enough for everyday use, but it isn’t on the level of the AirPods Pro 3. I would say it’s closer to Sony’s implementation. Overall, these deliver excellent sound, top tier ANC, and by far the best call noise suppression I’ve experienced in wireless earbuds. If you make calls in noisy places on a regular basis, this feature alone makes them easy to recommend.

Only provides 2 hours of AI functionality before requiring a paid subscription—otherwise, fine. Sound is outstanding.

Great buds! For some reason I have to use different size tips on each bud, but noise cancelation is great now that I've got that sorted out. The screen on the case froze and I had to do a hard reset but otherwise, I've had no issues whatsoever.
