Another home run from my favorite security camera company. I have been using eufy cameras for over four years now and I cannot recommend them enough. There are absolutely zero recurring subscription fees in order to get the maximum usage out of the product. You can do 24 hour recording via a local microSD card and the cameras do human AI detection, again without any subscription required. The app is super intuitive to use with all sorts of customization options, including one of my favorites which is Geo fencing that can adaptively change the notification and security settings based on where your phone is located.

One of the things I like most about this specific model is they included solar panel, and the fact that there are multiple camera lenses so you get the ability to zoom in as well as a wide angle view all at the same time. It’s really not possible to overstate how amazing this technology is, this camera is worth every penny, and my only recommendation is to research the different models and make sure that you get the proper cameras for your particular situation. I also recommend the S3 homebase since it has expandable storage. The battery life on this is advertised as lasting all year because you can charge it up and then again there’s the built-in solar panel.

Picture quality is amazing with the 4K resolution and colors are super accurate. The app is protected with password security as well as the option to add MFA so the risk of anybody hacking your security cameras is pretty much nonexistent. Very functional and easy to use, installation took less than 10 minutes and then once you have the app set up, you just added it to your camera collection with a couple taps.

The ultimate all in one security solution

Just got this eufyCam S4 - and man is this an upgrade to my previous FLC. The cam quality is night and day better. Love the PTZ tracking and the fixed cam. Over the past few days I have been draining the battery popping in and out of the live view to use the manual control of the turret cam! But with the included solar panel - even as temps start to drop here, the cam battery is able to get topped back up fairly quickly. The true test will come this winter when temps plummet. But for now, this thing has been exceptional!The cam is able to rotate to capture basically any angle against a wall and will track a person, pet, or car. The turret tracking is way smoother than my FLC2Pro. the old cam bounced around between preset positions/gear steps. This cam offers a much better/smoother panning. I also paired it with my HB3 which is nice because id does only come with a 32gb SD card... which can fill up fast with the 4k recordings.... I also did install a 256gb SD card just to test out if that worked - which it did... for those that dont have a HB3. Thankfully 256gb SD cards are cheap!At any rate - the tracking and motion detection on this thing has been solid so far! Def a need to own if you are looking to upgrade your FLC or to replace any fixed angle cams!

What is great is that I found everything I needed to know about how to set them up, set their direction, install the 1TB disc into my S380 home base, and find out how to choose the ring tone for my internal chime for my eufy doorbell, by just "googling" it, and AI gave me concise, complete & easy to understand instructions, within seconds, & I am not a whiz with anything having to do with tech stuff!.

Great system. I have used a few different systems and this one was easy to install and set up. Wow clear videos. It will track motion from one camera to another very well. No lag at all. Connecting to the internet was easy. It will identify peoples once you add the name to the site. It will tell you when they come on the premises. It is so good it told me a pet went through my yard.

Great product

I think the software is the true star with this system, I find it to be remarkably great! With native apps for phones, desktop, or locally on the console of the NVR it really is a complete system for home, shop, or office. Really no lag at all for me, but I do have fast internet at my shop and office. I really like how I can search through the footage and it's very responsive. The software can identify familiar faces and I can name them so it will say their name in the notification I get on my phone, or it will tell me if the person was unrecognized. It can even detect specific pets! The hardware is also great, with 3 cameras in each PTZ unit; one stationary and one shows up from the swivel, which actually has two lenses which switch depending on zoom level for optimal resolution. The cameras are weatherproof and get power over ethernet, and the ethernet connectors are weather rated with rubber grommets and enclosures that screw shut over the connectors, pretty standard and good quality overall. I expect this will last for years. I do wonder if all the app connectivity uses many server resources at eufy given that it's all included in the up front cost, I just hope they do keep all the apps updated and running. I was happy to see there were already app updates when I set this up the first time, so eufy has been improving the apps, which is fantastic. Recommended!

This system really feels complete right out of the box. The equipment is solid and well-made, with everything you need for installation included. I like that it has its own built-in video storage (2TB) so there’s no need for a cloud subscription, and the cameras are impressive—sharp image quality, smooth PTZ movement, and great coverage. The AI tracking and smart search features make it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for without scrubbing through hours of footage. Overall, a very nice, professional-level system that inspires confidence.

Four (4) POE Camera Security System with 2 TB HDD Storage

I bought the eufy S4 Max camera system mainly for its smart tracking and high video quality. Setup was easier than I expected thanks to the PoE connection, which handles both power and video through one cable. Within minutes, the cameras were up and running with clear image quality.What stands out most to me so far is the automatic tracking with zoom. The cameras are able to follow moving subjects fairly well, and switching between cameras during cross-cam tracking is smooth. The app is also user-friendly and makes it easy to set up custom alert zones.Both the wide-angle and PTZ lenses deliver solid image quality, even at night. I’ve also been using the smart video search feature a lot—it really helps avoid having to scroll through hours of footage. The built-in 2 TB hard drive supports 24/7 recording and has performed reliably so far.Overall, the system is meeting my expectations. The ability to expand to 16 channels gives me peace of mind for future use, and the three-year support from eufy was a key reason I chose this model. A nice product with affordable price

Solid system with smooth setup and smart tracking

I love everything about this system, with the exception of it's limited storage. I immediately purchased a 14TB Western Digital Purple Surveillance drive, specifically optimized for this type of system. Unfortunately WD doesn't make a 16TB for the "Surveillance" drives, going from 14TB to 18TB. While a 16TB system sounds adequate, it still seems like it's not enough. I currently have 2 bullet cameras and 2 dual bullet/ptz cameras. I have hooked them all up and they use, on average, 1TB a day when set to 24/7 recording at highest resolution. Those 4 cameras plugged in have used 3.4TB in 5 days. If I had 8 cameras plugged in (the max capable for this system), that would be about 7TB in just 5 days. By my estimation, that's only going to yield 2 weeks of footage. I feel 1 month of footage is the minimum acceptable necessary for a good surveillance system. The best, in my opinion, would be 90 days. There are so many times you need that footage to be retained longer because you don't always notice something missing or damaged until weeks later. With this system, that footage will have been long recorded over. My advice to the engineers, make the drive space expandable to multiple drives... or even one that could utilize a NAS drive. My attached photos shows my drive status after 5 days. Again, this is 2 bullet cameras and 2 dual/ptz cameras.

Great product, limited storage.

We have had a Samsung security system for well Uber 10 years and now, about half of that 10 years, I have really been fighting to keep the cameras alive and they've been troopers and held app well but several times they've gone out and I've been left with nothing so getting these cameras. While still leaving the old ones up is a great way to have a piece of mind that I will never Miss A thing. Although now, my old camera's look like ancient relics. Compared to these as not only does the picture quality far far exceed that of the old cameras, the features on these new ones are amazing, the A. I tracking and facial recognition type stuff is great and actually works very good like surprisingly good. The only negative I have noticed so far is that it is a little heavy on the notifications. But there's plenty of settings that you can adjust to change that also compared to the old cameras, these ones were an absolute breeze to set up literally the easiest quickest simplest cameras. I've ever set up in my life. And made everything so much more enjoyable and quicker the night vision on these is absolutely incredible. The regular infrared is good or they also have their special colored night vision mode. That looks as good as day in almost pitch black darkness. It's really, really impressive. What they've done with these cameras and I can genuinely say that I am impressed so far.

It’s a whole new world being able to stream my surveillance cameras live through the web portal, no matter where I am.

One feature I especially like is that I can set preset positions with 3x zoom. This allows me to detect and get notifications about people coming up my driveway around 50 meters earlier than I could with the EufyCam S3 Pro.

Already had the wiring do was pretty much plug and play. Very easy to install and the software did the rest. Love the dual cameras, so my four cameras give me 8 views with the movable camera using AI to track movement. Very cool and about 1/2 of what ADT was going to charge!

AI scanning on all cameras, instant real time notification with screen shot, fast PTZ camera working simultaneously with a fixed camera to get the whole picture! The images are super sharp tact even when you pinch to zoom in! Easy installation with their brackets and screws. The only thing I wish was an update on programming both light AND siren schedule! The motion detection area is not accurate even at zero settings. The NVR unit is super quiet and small form factor! I have 3 s4 NVR units and about 20 cameras. I love that the app allows me to see all 3 nvrs and all 20 cameras in one window. I'm glad I waited about 5 years before upgrading 3 of my systems!

The NVR can also built your own database of individual. The bullet cam works fine but seems like the lens are of much lower quality then the Bullet-PTZ cam. Why, because it is readily affected by LED lights. Image quality suffers at night when LED lights are on. Not so for the bullet-PTZ cam. My old wyze cam is unaffected by LED lights in the same image. I did have one of the external Bullet-PTZ cams fail after a month of use. But, Eufy Home tech support was great and eventually replaced the cam. All in all, it's a great NVR and the AI functionality is out of this world. I just purchased the now available T-8907 wifi module for the NVR for testing.
